Q1. How long have you been a member of the society?

For more than 1 year.

 Q2. What made you decide to join the society? 

You can only learn so much information from books and being a member of the Parrot Society gave me a greater insight to the keeping and breeding of birds. 

Q3. What type of birds do you keep?

Peachface Lovebirds, Eclectus, Green Cheek Conures to name some of the variety that I own.

Q4. What is your favourite type of bird and why?

Peachfaces. Their personalities are fantastic as it the genetic variety.  

Q5. Can you tell us about your biggest success/ achievement in the time you have been breeding birds?

Peachface Lovebirds do not have a true blue therefore we cannot breed an Albino.I am trying to combination existing mutations to breed a bird as close to albino as possible.

Q6. How about your greatest disappointment in the time you have been breeding birds?

Sudden and unexplained death of a bird.

Q7. If you had a few words of advice for a beginner, what would they be?

Start small, learn, develop, mature and then move into the exotics.
